St. Michael's Celebrates 125th Anniversary
Established by devoted Eastern European immigrants in 1884, St. Michael's was the first Ukrainian Greek Catholic church in America. After 125 years and despite a devastating fire in 1980, the strength and devotion of the parish prevailed.
125th Anniversary Liturgy and Banquet
Hierarchical Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2009.
The Most Reverend Metropolitan-Archbishop Stefan Soroka will be the Main Celebrant.
Following the liturgy, a 125th Anniversary banquet will be held at 5:00 PM at Saint Nicholas Banquet Hall, Route 901 in Primrose, PA.
